Private Versailles & Giverny Sightseeing Tour
Our private Versailles & Giverny Sightseeing Tour combines the palace of the Sun King, Louis the Fourteenth, with Claude Monet’s home and gardens at Giverny, a must-see on any trip to Paris.
Versailles Guided Tour (half day)
Explore the splendors of Versailles Castle, the spectacular palace built by one of France’s greatest rulers, King Louis XIV. Visit the King and Queen’s private apartments, the famous Hall of Mirrors, then venture into the extensive gardens to see the Petit Trianon and the Grand Trianon, the Grand Canal, or the Queen’s Hamlet, Marie Antoinette’s favorite place to “get away from it all”. You’ll be accompanied by an expert, English-speaking tour guide who will help you make the most of your visit to Versailles.
Giverny Sightseeing Tour (half day)
Painter Claude Monet’s home at Giverny is an essential visit for lovers of gardens and Impressionism. Our guided tour offers a special peek into his house and private gardens, including the Japanese Garden with its half-moon bridge and waterlilies so well known from Monet’s paintings. On the way back to Paris, you’ll travel on the lovely “Route des Crètes”, along the Seine river, to see the beautiful villages and landscapes that the Impressionists used as their inspiration.
